Spring chuck (collet clamp) is a kind of cylindrical fixture used to confine drills or milling cutters on a milling machine, or a fixture device used to fix and reinforce parts that need to be modified.
Before installing the chuck , we insert it into the lock nut and gently screw the lock nut with the chuck onto the shank, adapter or spindle. Be sure to clean it and the threaded part of the lock nut, as well as the positioning surface and cone surface.
During the installation of the chuck and lock nut, the chuck and lock nut must be tilted at an angle, and then gently placed in the lock slot of the lock nut.
